Our Recreational Dance programs include classes that meet once a week, for students to gain experience in dance forms such as Hip Hop, Tap, and Ballet for Beginners through Advanced experience. Our recreational classes for ages 3-4, 5-6, 7+, 11+, and Adult classes develop the techniques of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Lyrical.
Our First Moves program, starting at age 3, is a perfect class for your child to build gross motor skills, musicality, kinesthetic confidence, and a foundation in dance technique. They establish a lifelong love of dance, exploring their world through creative movement activities.

This class focuses on basic Ballet, Jazz, and Tap technique with an emphasis on rhythm and music. It is a wonderful class that encourages creativity with structured progression. It is an introduction to our Performing Division or Recreational classes.

UpDown Funk is more than just a dance class—it’s a community where everyone belongs. UpDown Funk is an inclusive dance class for children and adults with special needs. Dancers participate to the best of their ability in a fun, welcoming environment that feels like a dance party. Each class includes follow-along movement, across-the-floor skills, and learning choreography for our winter and spring performances. UpDown Funk is a place to belong, move, and shine.
