Grand Opening Event
September 21, 2024 | 1-5PM
We are thrilled to invite you, along with the entire Stillwater community, to celebrate the grand opening of our new studio! On Saturday, September 21, from 1 to 5 p.m., Curio Dance (located at 1655 Washington Ave., Stillwater) will be hosting a special event to celebrate both our new space and National Dance Day!
Event Highlights:
This free, family-friendly event is open to the public, so feel free to invite your friends and neighbors. You’ll have the chance to tour our state-of-the-art facility, watch exciting performances from our talented dancers, and meet the Mejia family, the sibling duo behind Curio Dance, who started the school 10 years ago right here in Minnesota after traveling the world as professional dancers.
Let’s celebrate 10 years of Curio Dance and our new home in Stillwater! We can’t wait to share this special moment with you all.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with us! We hope to see you at our Grand Opening event September 21, 1-5p.
The building site is located on Washington Ave, between Curve Crest Blvd and Orleans Street. The vision for our new home was brought to life with the help of Lambert Architects, a St. Paul-based firm, with a focus on distinctive quality and sustainable design, something Curio Dance is committed to.
We have been working diligently behind the scenes to design a facility with the well-being of our dancers in mind. Our staff has taken their best experiences dancing at studios around the world to curate a space with the most important features they know will make the greatest impact for our dancers, including:
Join us in creating lasting memories and supporting our environment at the new Curio Dance building!
Part of our building plans include a landscape plan that helps protect and promote the health of our watershed: the land and water systems that ultimately feed into our rivers and lakes. Working with Curio family members and landscape designers, we have created a plan that is not only beautiful in all seasons, but supports the health of our watershed district, and provides a food source for pollinators.
Plant the seeds of memories with a sponsorship of $25-100 per plant.
